Pudding to cross the Pennines for

Today we visited the awesome Nana B, my husband’s grandma, in Huddersfield and took her out for lunch at the Golcar Lily. The home-made sticky toffee pudding alone was worth crossing the Pennines for… fluffy moist sponge studded with dates, swimming in the most gorgeous butter toffee sauce and custard. A walk around Castle Hill was in order to aid the digestion – the views over the town and surrounding countryside were spectacular and, we avoided the rain.
